CA 15-3

About This Test
CA 15-3 is a marker made by some breast cancer cells and is most useful for tracking disease over time. It can also be mildly elevated in benign breast conditions, liver disease, or during pregnancy, so results are interpreted with clinical context. This test is commonly included in follow-up plans for patients with known breast cancer.
