What diagnostic tests are available via Klaro Health?
Klaro Health facilitates an extensive range of clinical pathology tests - blood, urine and stool tests.
These tests are suitable for management of hypertension, diabetes, kidney disorders and other chronic diseases as well as for preventive wellness check-ups and for pregnant women.
Is Klaro Health a laboratory?
No, we are not a laboratory. We manage home samples collection using trained and certified medical technologists and work in a close partnership with Singapore Diagnostics for laboratory analysis.
Singapore Diagnostics is a leading laboratory in the Philippines and one of only a few with American CAP certification, signifying the highest standards in accuracy. Your report will be issued by our laboratory partner.
Are the tests provided suitable for use by doctors based on a prescription?
Yes, we facilitate medical grade diagnostic services in partnership with our laboratory partner Singapore Diagnostics.
The tests are suitable for physicians in diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions including hypertension, diabetes, kidney disorders and many others.
You can either select the tests you need on our website, select a suitable package or send us a photo of your doctor’s prescription and we will send you back a link with all the prescribed tests already added to your basket.
Are Klaro Health test results accepted by doctors?
Yes, all samples are collected by registered medical technologists and are analyzed by an accredited laboratory following strict protocols to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and precision.
The same laboratory that processes your samples also does testing for many other hospitals and clinics.
How to order tests and schedule a home visit?
You can select either curated packages like hypertension or diabetes panels or add individual tests to cart on our website www.klaro.ph You will be asked to select a home visit date and time before checkout.
Alternatively, you can upload your prescription and our medics will send you a link with the required tests selected for you.
Bookings can be made up to one week in advance, Monday - Saturday between 5am and 12 noon.
How and when do I receive my test results?
You will receive your laboratory results via email as a pdf attachment on the email address given at checkout.
Our lab partner operates on a 24 basis and you can expect the results the same or the next day in most cases.
Do you charge additional fees for a home visit?
We do not charge any additional fees for orders of ₱1800 or more. For orders under ₱1800 we charge a home visit fee of ₱299.
Do you honor PWD and Senior discounts?
Yes, we honour PWD and Senior discounts. If you are eligible, please use codes PWD20 or Senior20 to avail these at checkout.
Please note that you will be required to show your proof during a home visit and pay the balance amount in case of invalid or unavailable proof.
Do I need to fast before my test?
Patient preparation requirements are indicated on each test or package page on our website, please read them carefully.
Where fasting is required, ensure you do not eat any food 8-10 hours prior to your scheduled test time and drink only water.
Always consult your doctor to confirm your test preparation requirements.
Booking, Pricing & Service Areas
In what areas is Klaro Health service available?
We are serving all of Metro Manila now.
You can order tests to your home or office address. In case of office address please ensure building management will allow entry.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept online payments at checkout on our website using a licensed payment gateway.
We currently accept PHQR for bank transfers and payments using e-wallets with more payment methods coming soon. We do not accept cash payments.
How can I use discounts?
Discount codes can be applied at the checkout.
When accessing klaro.ph via a discount link, the discount will be auto-applied once tests are added to a cart.
Please note that a maximum discount cap of ₱750 per order applies accross all offers.
Do you support payments via HMOs?
We support only cash (out of pocket) payments at this moment.
We hope to support HMO payments soon and will let you know once we do!
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes, you can reschedule your appointment by emailing us on help@klaro.ph.
Please note that rescheduling requests less than 24 hours before home visit schedule will incur an additional rescheduling fee of 499 PHP.
Can I cancel an already paid order?
Yes, you can cancel an already paid order by emailing us on help@klaro.ph.
If your cancelation request is received more than 24 hours before your home visit scheduled time we will refund you the amount paid subject to a 5% payment processing fee.
We will not be able to refund orders cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled home visit time.
Can you handle multiple patients during a single visit?
Yes, we can collect specimens from multiple patients during the same visit.
You will however have to make separate bookings on our platform for each patient for the same day and select available time slots on that day.
Please contact us on help@klaro.ph after booking to inform us about multiple collections at the same time we will surely accommodate you.
I cannot find my prescribed tests on your website or I cannot read the prescription handwriting, what can I do?
Please upload a picture of your prescription and our medics will help send you a link with your required tests already selected so you can complete your booking.
Tests Accuracy, Safety & Home Visit
How does Klaro Health ensure high accuracy of test results?
Accuracy of tests is critical for your diagnosis. At Klaro Health we ensure market leading accuracy in the following ways:
- We employ only highly trained and experienced medical technologists and use high quality sterile equipment for sample collection.
- We use automated bar code scanning to prevent any mix-ups due to handwritten labeling.
- Once collected, your samples are kept in a chilled container to ensure their freshness and integrity and delivered to our partner laboratory within maximum three hours as per protocols.
- Our partner lab is a leading diagnostics provider in the Philippines certified by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and processing over 1MN samples a year for many hospitals and clinics.
What safety procedures does Klaro Health follow for home visits?
We have strict protocols in place to ensure your safety and safety of your loved ones. All medics are PRC certified, fully vaccinated and with NBI clearance.
We use only single use equipment in sterile packaging to prevent any risk of infections, including single use vacutainers, masks and gloves.
Additionally, doing tests from the comfort of your home reduces your exposure to other potentially ill patients in hospitals and clinics, ensuring a safe environment for your diagnostic needs.
What happens during a Klaro Health home visit?
Our trained and certified medic will arrive at your home or office address during the stated appointment window. Please help coordinate their entry with your building management.
Our medics come fully prepared with sterile single use equipment. The actual sample extraction will happen in the comfort of your home, in a seated position where possible.
Once completed, your samples will be stored in a chilled container and promptly delivered to a partner lab for analysis.
The whole visit typically takes 15-20 minutes.
How do you maintain quality of blood samples?
Our medical technologists and delivery staff follow strict protocols to ensure the highest quality and integrity of your blood samples.
All samples are labelled and stored in sealed bags right after extraction and transported in an insulated cooler with ice packs to maintain required temperatures as prescribed by our partner laboratory.
All samples are delivered to the laboratory for processing in maximum three hours or sooner as per guidelines. This ensures that the samples remain fresh, retain their integrity and are processed quickly to provide accurate and fast results.
What infection control measures do you follow?
Our medical technologists use personal protective equipment like single use masks and gloves and are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Hepatitis.
They wear daily washed, antimicrobial uniforms for additional safety.
We use only high quality, sterile and single use equipment.
Do you also serve elderly patients and children?
Yes, our medics are trained to also serve elderly patients without a known medical condition which can interfere with blood extraction.
We also serve child patients aged 5 years and above. For child patients their legal guardian must place the order and be present during the home visit.
Can I order tests for my relatives such as my parents, my spouse or my children?
Yes, you can order tests also for your relatives.
Please ensure you enter correct patient details in required fields on cart page before checkout and to enter the home visit address at checkout (labelled as delivery address).
Results, Aftercare & Support
How and when do I receive my test results?
You will receive your laboratory results via email as a pdf attachment on the email address given at checkout.
Our lab partner operates on a 24 basis and you can expect the results the same or the next day in most cases.
Can you help me interpret my test results?
No, we do not provide consultations or physician services. Please contact your doctor for test results interpretation and for recommended next medical steps.
What if I have questions about my test results? Do you offer online consultations?
We do not facilitate online consultations at this point, please contact your doctor for results interpretation.
If you see or suspect any errors on your test results report, please contact us on help@klaro.ph specifying your concern and we will work to resolve it promptly with our partner laboratory.
Can I request a hard copy printed version or a duplicate of my results?
We provide only a digital copy of your lab results in a pdf format as shared by our partner laboratory. This will be emailed to your email address shared during service booking.
We do not provide hardcopy printed results but you may easily print the digital version. r
Can I request additional tests after the blood has been collected?
Please contact us at help@klaro.ph in case you need additional tests.
We will coordinate with our partner laboratory to confirm if your existing samples are still available and can be used for additional tests as per official protocols (some tests can be done even a few days after sample collection if the samples are properly stored in the laboratory and before they are destroyed).
If the prescribed time window has passed we offer you a new home collection visit.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes, we maintain the highest standard of privacy and security for your diagnostics data.
We will never sell or disclose your personal data and they will be used only to fulfill our services with our verified partners.

What should I do if I feel unwell after a sample collection?
Feeling lightheaded or dizzy after a blood draw is uncommon but can happen, especially if you haven’t eaten or are anxious about needles. If you feel unwell:
- Sit or lie down immediately and rest for a few minutes.
- Drink water and have a light snack once your test allows it (avoid snacks if you are still fasting for another test).
- If there is mild bruising or soreness, apply gentle pressure or a cold compress.
These symptoms usually pass quickly.
However, if you experience persistent dizziness, excessive bleeding, severe pain, or anything that feels unusual, please seek medical care right away from your preferred clinic or hospital.
