Urine Glucose checks for glucose (sugar) in a urine sample, which can appear when blood sugar is high or when the kidneys spill sugar abnormally. A positive result may suggest undiagnosed or poorly controlled diabetes, stress-related hyperglycemia, pregnancy-related glycosuria, or rare renal tubular conditions. Abnormal findings are typically confirmed with blood glucose and HbA1c testing to assess true glycemic control.
