About This Test
A stool examination that looks for signs of infection, bleeding, parasites, and inflammation. It can detect blood or mucus, eggs/parasites, and abnormal cells that explain diarrhea, abdominal pain, or weight loss. Results guide whether further tests (culture, antigen/PCR) are needed. This test is commonly included in targeted check-ups to support early detection and better monitoring.

Patient Preparation
No fasting needed. Collect a fresh stool sample in a clean, dry container; avoid urine/water contamination.
