About This Package
This panel looks at how well your liver cells are working, whether bile is flowing properly, and if the liver is making key proteins. It can pick up silent problems such as fatty liver, alcohol-related injury, or irritation from medicines. The results also help separate liver-cell injury from bile-duct blockage and check for jaundice. It’s useful as a baseline before starting drugs that can affect the liver.

Why is it done

Ordered to detect hepatitis, fatty liver, alcohol or medicine-related injury, and to monitor ongoing liver disease. Helps identify problems early even before symptoms appear.
